Tissot Service Center
My Tissot watch died on me just a day before the Chinese New Year festival. During the festivity period, I had to rely on my O2 phone for time. After a few hours, I realized that it was much easier to check time with my wife “Honey, what time do you have there?“. 😀 As it was the festive period and falling on a weekend, I decided to service my watch after the festivals which is today.
Finding the service center was difficult. Online search at Tissot’s website wasn’t much of a help either. I dug through my Tissot’s guarantee card and could find any numbers for the service center. Almost given up hope, I called a friend who called another friend and got hold of the telephone number. Guess what, it was a fax number. 🙁
My finally walked over to Goldhill to have my watch services. For those of you who are in dire straits to have your watch serviced, here are the contact details:

The center is opened from Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm only. Besides Tissot, they are able to service Omega, Rado, Longines, Swatch and other brands of watches too.

Thank you for your address of the service centre. My assistant helped me repair my watch less than a year ago but cannot remember exactly where it was. I must say I am very disappointed with the quality. two of the three buttons on the left of my watch fell out AGAIN and I don’t know where I lost them. The first time it happened, I think I paid about to RM400 (I think) for the replacement. I told them it was half of a new one! I am not sure if I want to replace it this time because if I don’t, I do not have all the functions. By the way, the warranty period for the replacement part is only 1month! I am not happy with the quality and service. Alot of hype but also alot or problems behind the scene.

1. Usually when the battery was replaced, do Tissot give a warranty of ‘waterproof’ again as battery compartment was opened for replacing the battery?
2. Do this service centre repaire other brands like swiss army and give the same warranty as above?

Hi Don,
At the official service centre, the battery replacement includes the replacing the ‘O’ ring rubber seal. This will ensure it continues to be waterproof or water-resistant (depends on your water model).
The service centre do repair other brands such as Omega, Rado, Swatch, etc. A lot of other brands but I’m not sure if Swiss Army is included. Do call them at the number listed.

I just bought a Tissot Automatic Limited editions M.Oven from Brightwatch Penang on 18-03-2011. My watch was admired by most of my friends and the truth is I love it. The next day when I was at E-Gate with friends the watch suddenly stoped . Just one day only, wearing it. When called the Brightwatch they said please wear for another day maybe it’s not charged. I wearing automatic watches almost for 20yrs and understand how it works. Rado, Titoni, Pagol , Seiko and some others are my collections. I gave back the watch to Brightwatch and asked them to replace with a new. I called The Swatch Group (M) Sdn Bhd.03-20508888, they promise to get me a new one. We’ll see how … if still not satisfied will take these matter further.

my watch tissot special limited edition, which coz me about 5K plus.. two years i’m wearing at no problem.. until one day.. the batt out of order. try to replace a new batt.. but the shop that i bought that watch said.. they dont do the batt replacement for tissot.. they ask me to go to tissot brand shop.. oh god..!! u know.. at that time i was very disappointed coz my watch cant be use untill i find the tissot brand shop.. and what.. i cant wait.. i try to find any shop that can settle my watch.. and lastly the watch working… anyway.. the next morning i wake up and see the time from my hand… u know what happend.. my luvly watch got sparkling water inside… OMG… i dont know what to do… untill one day i try to open myself and do the thing that i wanted to do.. finally ok.. this thing was 3 years back.. and now my watch need batt replacement again.. and i need to do the full medical check up for my luvly watch… and the lesson that i have now is.. dont take simple as it is… luv ur watch as u luv urself… and thank you for ur info above.. will go to goldhill and be safe…

That’s a bad news. Have you sent in your watch for repairs or replacement?
I bought a PRS 516 automatic and it has been great so far. The time accuracy is good, in my opinion.

dear sir,
i bought a tissot automatic in 2010 at KLCC with the price RM1950. after discont.
after few month the watch dose not function as automatic. i have to do manual winding every 48 hrs. i bring my tissot to the tissot retailer to send for repair.
after few week i collect back my tissot. its function properly.
but not my tissot dose not function as automatic. its stop at 7 hours after i wind.
no matter i wear the watch keep the watch its just stop after few hours.
pls advice me on this problem. i wish the tissot watch dealer can replace this foulty watch.
