On and off, I will receive a SMS from a sender “AQM”.
Each time, the message is the same.
Please call the nearest branch or home branch where your loan is maintained.
From AQM, Maybank.
The only links between Maybank and me are their current and savings accounts. I have yet to talk to any of their loan officers, let alone take their loan.
In the past, I made a call to Maxis asking for any explanation and guess what, their customer service doesn’t even know anything that goes by AQM. I lodged an official complain through the Maxis representative (poor guy) and requested to bar that incoming SMS. Looks like the request is not going through. *Sigh*
Will attempt to call Maybank next.

Darn! A day after I wrote about the cool Nokia N92, I heard about Motorola unveiling their latest RAZR Model Z mobile phone. Look at the inset photo; isn’t the RAZR slider a sexy gadget. This is by far the most mouth-watering and sexiest mobile phone I’ve seen so far.
Now, I’m torn between RAZR slider and the Nokia N92. Here’s some quick rundown of the specifications:
Thickness: 14.8mm
- Screen: 2.2 inches
- Camera: 1 mega pixel
- MP3 player: Yes
This latest phone is estimated to be priced around RM1,900 (US$510) to RM2,300 (US$620).
p.s.
Aren’t those models as cute as the phone?

With the Nokia N92 mobile phone (not sure if I can still call it a mobile phone), features such as MMS, camera, video capture and MP3 player has sort of become obsolete technology. This is because the Nokia N92 gadget can be used to tune into television channels and watch your favourite channels. This gadget is designed specifically for the TV afficiandos.
Other features that Nokia N92 is capable of are:
built-in music player
- FM radio
- 2 megapixel camera
- video recorder
- video call
This mobile TV device boasts of a 2.8 inch 16million colours screen. It works in conjunction with the Digital Video Broadcast Handheld (DVB-H) technology to deliver live digital TV broadcasts. Before you go and book your Nokia N92, do a quick check with your mobile operator if they support the DVB-H technology in order for you to watch your TV channels.
The Nokia N92 is not available just yet and is expected to hit the shelves end of this year.
